Bulldozer Course Description:
Bulldozers are called on for a variety of work. Backfilling around
foundations and other structures, dressing slopes, cutting V-ditches,
piling brush and debris, clearing rubble, and occasionally rough
excavating.
Course Description:
- Perform pre-trip inspection
- Use of proper terms and definitions
- Use of proper safety procedures
- Perform rough ditching and spreading
- Perform ripping operations
- Cutting and building a gentle slope bench
- Proper use of the bulldozer on unstable soil
- Replacing cutting edges on blades and teeth on rippers
